Father's Day gift assortment from Glyph — pub quiz, sports trivia, multi-tools, cards, and baseball book

For the Dad Who Says He Doesn't Want Anything

Father's Day is Sunday, June 21 — which, if you're doing the math, is very soon. Don't panic. We've got you, and we promise not to tell him you waited. Better yet, the whole weekend is shaping up: downtown throws the Washington Street Father's Day Fest on Saturday the 20th, so you can make a day of it before the big day.

Here's the thing about dads: they'll insist they don't need a single thing, then spend twenty minutes reading the back of a trivia box. So we leaned into it. This year's Father's Day picks are built for the dad who's hard to shop for precisely because he claims to want nothing.

There's The Big Pub Quiz and its pocket-sized sibling for the dad who needs to be right at the dinner table — plus Sports Trivia and a Dad Jokes deck, because someone in your family has to keep the groans coming. For the dad who appreciates a little attitude, the "May Contain Alcohol" enamel mug says what he's thinking before his first cup of coffee does.

We've also got the genuinely useful stuff: ALLTUL multi-tools that actually live on a keychain, a Field Notes edition of A Drive into the Gap for the baseball-and-memory crowd, and whiskey-flavored snacks from Swag Brewery that pair suspiciously well with a backyard afternoon.

And if you'd rather give something a little quieter, our shelves are full of pens, paper, and small, well-made things worth lingering over. Father's Day doesn't have to be loud to be thoughtful.

Before the big day: Saturday, June 20, downtown Havre de Grace comes alive for the Washington Street Father's Day Fest, 12–6, along the 100 and 200 blocks of N. Washington Street and the adjacent blocks of Pennington Ave. We're proud to support it — Glyph created and sponsors ShopHDG.com to help promote downtown and our fellow local businesses, because a strong Main Street is good for all of us. Come spend the afternoon, then knock out your Father's Day shopping while you're here.

Stop by the shop this week to put a bundle together — we're open Friday through Sunday, and we're happy to help you find the thing he'll pretend he didn't want. Prefer to browse from the couch? A good chunk of this is online too.

Either way: you've got six days. We believe in you.
