Blackwing built its name on the desks of animators and writers, and this special edition puts the pencil back in that company. Six character pencils come in the box, printed for Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Donald and Daisy, along with a Mickey Mouse sharpener, a Mickey point guard, and an A5 Mickey and Minnie notebook with blank pages.

The graphite is standard Blackwing graphite, so none of this is decorative only. The pencils sharpen and write the way the rest of the line does. What the set adds is that it arrives complete and boxed, which is most of the reason to give it rather than assemble something similar yourself.
