Dense carbon black with very little sheen, which is why it reproduces so cleanly when scanned or photographed. A standard for comics, illustration, and any line work meant to be printed.

Free flowing and non clogging through a dip nib, and waterproof once dry so you can lay watercolour over the top without lifting the line.
